Our Story

Colegio Aguadeño San Francisco de Asís, Inc. located in heart of the seaside town of Aguada, Puerto Rico, was founded in 1994 by the initiative of Mrs. Rosín González and Prof. Rosa I. Ruíz. With the dream of offering a higher education to the community and those near by, the institution pioneered in teaching English as a first language. It began operations with only two small groups of Pre-K and Kindergarten. Soon enough, expansion came to a start and by 2004 the institution had already reached to enroll students all the way to ninth grade.

Since it’s beginning, our educational methods have enabled our students to exceed in English, Spanish, Science and Mathematics, maintaining this way the CADIE accreditation.  In addition we also offer many extracurricular activities that encourage social interaction among students and their community, creating possibilities for those who need them most.

Colegio Aguadeño San Francisco de Asís, Inc. visualizes preschool and elementary education as a continuing process to help individuals become better human beings.  This learning process begins at home and continues systematically with the help of our school.  Its basic objectives are geared towards developing individuals physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally.
